The industrial two part (non-water based) epoxy has been installed, and decorative black and white flakes sprinkled on to p. This is the under-stairs water heater closet.

The laundry room. This room was a key reason I coated all the cement. I didn't want the cement dust in a conditioned (heated/cooled) part of the house (which this room is).

The old countertops and backspash. They were fine, but since I was redoing everything else, I figured I'd do these as well

The new countertops. The old backsplash, as expected, didn't come off without significant damage to the old backer board.

There were a number of problems with the new installation, from dangerous wiring to damaged plumbing to me needing time to install the new backspash backer board to scheduling the new installation....

The new backspash tile, round 1. There are 12 tiles that have to be replaced.

And they didn't think they had to seal the slate. (sigh) I couldn't do the granite myself, but knew I should have done the tile.

The upstairs is just about done. The center channel and back surround speaker stands still need to be finished, but everything else is great.

The theater seating on the raised platform. Note the lighting under the edge of the platform, great for making sure you don't trip when the lights are dimmed for a movie.

The bar, with the two glass door mini-fridges. The center door is the same color; the picture was just taken from a perfect angle to get a reflection that lightened it. Doesn't everyone have a refurbished working five segment traffic signal?
