Saturday 10/29/2005:
Sally knocked on the door at 6:22. Keefe and I went over and met them for breakfast. Keefe knocked on Mike & Jay's door, and they joined us a few minutes later. We had good conversations & Sally read us a few things she had planned to read last night. We said our goodbyes and went our different ways - though Mike, Jay, Rod, Kristina, and Daiva were going to spend the night at Sally's new place in Prescott before heading to Phoenix for their Sunday flights.
We also figured out what happened last night. We had told Angie (at the lodge counter) that the others were arriving in a few minutes and to give them which keys, but when they got there Angie said there were no rooms because she (Angie) didn't connect that these were the people we said would be here soon! When they were here, Dave (also from the lodge), called Cliff Dwellers and found space there, but never relayed the message that we were to have dinner there. When we got back from the showers and asked Angie, she said no-one had come in yet. I think Angie & Dave just spaced out - oh well. Everyone had a room, dinner, & we met for breakfast. Except Al who had driven back home to Flagstaff.
